Yarns and polyphony and transposition

Hello Mutable Instruments!

I am new on this forum.
Really enthousiastic about the MI modules, here is a question about the Yarns which
I am considering to purchase, especially for the features related to the sequencer.

Is it indeed possible to create 4 tracks sequences?
In this case, are there 4 * 64 steps available?
Is is possible to transpose those 4 tracks at once with a midi note coming only from one channel ?
And transposing the 4 tracks at once?

And also, how can Polychain be achieved?

Many thanks!

440 Hz.

> Is it indeed possible to create 4 tracks sequences?

Yes, when you put the unit in 4M (4 individual monophonic parts) mode.

> In this case, are there 4 * 64 steps available?

Yes. You need to chose which of the 4 tracks you record in when pressing the record button.

> Is is possible to transpose those 4 tracks at once with a midi note coming only from one channel ?

This will work if the 4 tracks are “listening” to the same MIDI channel.

> And also, how can Polychain be achieved?

Search for polychaining in the manual.
