VU meter fetish

Hello,

I have a strange VU meter fetish. The warm amber glow of the window, the moving needle, such an analog aesthetic. I’m building a custom unit, distortion module, I was just curious what unit you guys think have the prettiest VU meters?

I like the large ones. I also love magic eye tubes. I’m trying to decide which ones I can get my hands on to put in this 2U rack unit.

K… definitely feel awkward being the only one here with a VU meter fetish… anyways, I found some from an old tape machine. This will be a very ambitious project… should be done in 3 months
