I had the 100K Log pot i used for Volume on the metal case Ambika fail.

First time ever and it had to happen when the Ambika was fully assembled

I felt like i was stabbed in the heart.

Anyway…I’ve taken it apart again and removed the broken 100K Log pot but i don’t have any more.

Could i use a 50K Log pot in this circuit without problems or is it going to start messing things up ?

Apart from the 50K Log pot , i only have 100K Lin in stock.

Both will work.

Our hearing sensitivity is not linear, that’s the only reason for using a log pot. So it appears to reduce in a linear fashion when turning it.

Thanks ! I ended up finding one 100K Log pot on a Plague Bearer kit i never built.
