Massively off-topic, but it tickled me, so I’m going to share it with you all.
I first read this part of Francis Bacon’s New Atlantis at the London Science Museum’s recent Oramics exhibition , but it’s good to hear it read out loud (albeit not very well). It’s amazing how prescient the section on audio (0:27 to 1:35) is, given it was written in 1624!
