Scale setting doesn't track the keyboard

I’ve been using my MidiPal with my Minibrute. Everything works good except for the “Scale” program.

For example, I can press the same key and it will change notes… or I can press keys in an ascending fashion and the notes will be descending or random.

Any ideas?

Is the “hrm” setting set to off?
