Will any of these work or will I need to order the encoders from Farnell?

Hmmm, I’m not sure, none of those parts seem to have a switch.

I’d try 652-PEC12-4217FS0024 or 652-PEC12-2220FS0024

I used 774-290VAA5F201B2 from Mouser with success.
