Question about self patching clouds safely

Ok, I know it should be safe to take an audio output from clouds and use it to modulate any of the cv parameters of clouds.

My question is specifically about running clouds left channel out back into the right channel. I wanted to use the left channel with high gain and to boost a rather quiet signal into the right channel and have the bonus of sampling the first set of grains into a second. Is this bad practice? Can I hurt the unit with a loud feedback loop?

No. You would have solved the world energy crisis if this somehow generated enough energy to damage the module

More generally, unless you own badly designed modules, putting a patch cable between any two points in your system won’t damage anything.

Good point
