Question about Braids

Hi everyone!

I am thinking about to get Braids for my small noise setup, but i have a very basic question from somebody that is still learning modular synthesis.

I have an Enthervar lunchbox, a Ph Cell 48 case and 4ms row power on the way (i will build a new bigger case)

So regarding to the 5v that is necessary to power braids. Can i put Braids in the Lunchbox? If so, do i need to buy the 5v adapter for it?

The same questions goes to the 4ms row power.

About the Cell 48, i read somewhere here that i can not use Braids with it. Is this correct?

I really need to get this module, but first i have to solve this doubt.

Thanks a lot

If your power supply and power rails don’t have 5V you need the Volts adapter.

The erthenvar lunchbox with its MiniBus power board is fine.

Anything using a 4ms row power is fine too.

You’ll need to build a DIY adapter for that. The cell 48 does not have a proper bus board, so you cannot plug a +5V adapter (Volts or the make-noise one…).

See this

But more importantly, you need something to plug the Volts adapter in!

Thanks a lot everyone.
I think i got it.
I will use either my lunchbox or the new case i am about to build with 4ms row power 40w. Nevermind about the PH Cell 48. I used it for other modules (maybe controller ones).
Now is time to order Braids and join the club!
