Power supply problem. Red points 10.5v green points -0.3v (Solved)

Hi guys,

I am having problems with the power supply. The red points are reading 10.5v and the green points are reading -0.3. I have checked the regulators are in the correct positions. Can anyone shed some light on this?

What are the voltages on each pin of the voltage regulators (7805 and 7905)?

7085 - pin 1 10.5v, pin 2 0v, pin 3 17.6v
7905 - pin 1 -0.3v, pin 2 0v, pin 3 0v.

Looks like your input voltage is too high - you have destroyed the LT1054.

input was 9v,but thanks I will order a LT1054

Which power supply did you use? What is the voltage at the input of your power supply. Because your reading indicates that it delivered at leat 18V.

problem solved it was my multimeter playing up… thanks for the help though pichenettes
