I recently built an MI Module Tester, but haven’t been able to find out what the 1/4" socket on the back is for.
Could someone enlighten me?

The signal patched to the audio in on the front panel is sent to this jack, with a gain of 0.3 - so that it can be connected to a powered speaker that would not tolerate modular levels.
Thanks @pichenettes. I thought it probably was supposed to mirror the input. Mine doesn’t seem to do that, unfortunately. Will have to recheck my soldering.

It turns out I had a faulty 1/4" > Minijack adapter. Looks like the Module Tester is fine

To use headphones with the Tester, should I make up a little 1/4" mono jack to stereo minijack adapter cable?

Found an adapter for it
