Lcd 16x 2 st7066u

Hello,

I`m looking at ordering a red/black LCD for my next Shruthi build.
I have found some that say they are ST7066U – is this an equivalent spec to HD47780 and will they work?

A very quick Google search tells me that they are supposed to be pin compatible to HD47780 …

These are the same parts as Sparkfun, I’ve already bought from them and they worked fine!
