Heavy hitter with DPO and TR-8S

All of the sounds come from one take of the Make Noise DPO and Roland TR-8S, unpolished for y’all. Ghetto dance!

Nice groove! Little question: which sounds come from the TR-8S and which from the DPO?

The drums are all TR-synthesis. The two “melodic” lines come from the DPO, one from each oscillator. The acidic bassline + sync sound is oscillator one and the laid back “pad” is the final output of the second oscillator.

Yeah, it’s easy to end up with big, complicated patches but I tend to only really like and record the stuff that’s based on a few sound making modules.
