Free Multisamples?

Anyone got any cool places to get some multisampled orchestra? Or anthing else cool?
Cheers

You have probably already seen this page, but it is full of useful information.

here’s a nice and free (actually open source) one: http://www.kvraudio.com/product/the-total-composure-orchestra-by-total-composure

How about Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra?

"ABOUT
Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra is a free orchestral sample library. While not as advanced or ambitious in scope as commercial offerings, SSO contains all the basic building blocks for creating real virtual orchestrations. It’s primarily aimed at beginners, but also more experienced composers looking for something lightweight and/or portable might find it useful

FORMAT
SSO comes in sfz format, which is a powerful, open, non-monolithic sample format. It consists of a plain text file with an sfz extension that holds all sample playback parameters, and a set of sound samples in wave format which are referenced by the sfz file. This means that sfz files can be edited with any plain text editor, and the samples can be edited with any audio editor that loads wave files."

Hope this helps!

+1 for the Sonatina samples. I haven’t used them in a long time, but they are top notch from what I remember.

Total compusere reverts back to trial after some time though… (at least in my experience)

Not in my experience. But of course you need the full Kontakt version to run it. The player version will only permit you to use non-licensed sample instruments for 30 minutes.

Those are ace. Those stacked with some warbly mellotron will be just the trick for what I want.

Just adding to my sounds of stuff I used to have on the laptop. Gunna chuck them on my Akai along with some pianos.
