Dear Mutables,
after a break i’m soldering my Ambika and make maybe a mistake. For the Jumper JP-1 to JP-6 i solder from the picture the left one instead the right one. The legs are not so long.
Is this a mistake or not?
Thank you very much for an answer.
All the best,
waldemaR
They should all be long (like the one on the right).
This is strange, why do you have two different parts? The one on the right looks too long.
Dear Olivier,
sorry i don’t no why. Here once again a picture with a measurment.
Please advise, thank you.
All the best,

Dear Olivier,
thank you very much for this good news
Hopefully my last question to this, can i use the other one’s if i cutted a little bit down?
All the best,
waldemaR
Yes, you can. I mostly use them and cut them to my taste, as at some time i ordered a batch of the wrong size.
Dear nightworxx,
good news too. So i will gohead.
Thank you All for the fast reponse and help.
All the best,
waldemaR
The 6 soldered on the mobo have their legs cut anyways…
Just a little tip regarding what is the “right” length for the SIL header pins: The perfect length is exactly the length of the plastic frame so you can use that as a guide to cut longer pins
Dear altitude,
thank you, you are 100% right.
