Elements Chords mode question

Sorry for another Elements question…

When in Chords mode turning the Geometry knob to the left, it will play Minor chords, to the right Major chords.

But what are the specific chords? Min7, Maj7, etc… Is there some kind of overview?
Looked for it on the Internet but couldn`t find it.

OK. Did not look hard enough. It’s open source :slight_smile: If I interpretate it right, it’s in
elements/dsp/voice.cc

float chords[11][5] = {
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 0.0f, 0.01f, 12.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 3.0f, 7.0f, 10.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 3.0f, 7.0f, 12.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 3.0f, 7.0f, 14.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 3.0f, 7.0f, 17.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 7.0f, 12.0f, 19.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 4.0f, 7.0f, 17.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 4.0f, 7.0f, 14.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 4.0f, 7.0f, 12.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 4.0f, 7.0f, 11.0f },
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 5.0f, 7.0f, 12.0f },
};

Where 0.0f is the rootnote set by “Coarse”, the others are the semitones. Is that a right assumption?

What does the “0.01f” in the “first” line means?
{ 0.0f, -12.0f, 0.0f, 0.01f, 12.0f }

Yes!

0.01 semitones = 1 cent. So this is only octaves, but with an extra slightly detuned note.

Great!

One more question…

Reading the code from top to bottom is the “same” as turning the Geometry from left to right?

By listening, I would say “Yes!”. And by thinking in a logical way, I would say the same.

@pichenettes Thanks again!
