Digital control board v0.5 vs v0.7

i’m in the process of building my second shruthi-1. i have a v0.5 control board, and i’m wondering which of the modifications in v0.7 i can/should do to my earlier board:

> Added solder pads for MIDI connector.
ok, a workaround for this one has already been posted here:

> Changed MIDI pull-up resistor to 10k.
so i just use a 10k resistor instead of 1k, right?

> Added an extra bypass cap on the MCU RST line, and near the digital supply pin for extra stability.
what’s that one about? should i try to imitate this on my v0.5 board? how?

> so i just use a 10k resistor instead of 1k, right?

Use a 10k resistor with a 6N137 opto, or a 1k resistor if you use a 6N138 opto.

I don’t think you need to worry about this.

If yours works, just do nothing. Never change a running system!

oh yes, it works fine - running smoothly along with my first shruthi. polychaining is great fun!
