CV Input Voltage Range Difference Clouds +/- 5v, Rings +/- 8v

It seems on your more recent modules like the Rings your bipolar CV input ranges tend to be (-8v, 8v). I noticed, however, Clouds is (-5v, 5v). Why the difference?

Because Ring has attenuverters.
