I like the look, but the price is scary. I feel like the Qunexus does most of what this does, but if you want something more “piano feeling” this might be the way to go.
But it only does MIDI through USB.
Looks like a competitor to the Haken Continuum
I have always been intrigued by these very expressive “keyboards”
Yeah but did they get Jordan Rudess to endorse it?
Have you seen Roger Linn demo his latest prototype? I cant remember the name but similar concept in a way - looks like its gonna cost big though http://www.mutable-instruments.net/forum/discussion/4346/so-about-that-linnstrument-#Item_6
Actually IIRC Rudess is in the production team. Check the company’s site.
Now all that’s needed for promotion is to find someone who can demonstrate a Mutable Instruments product with it!
On a more serious note, I enjoy seeing these kinds of new controllers that are coming out, where the controller is not just a hard, smooth, cold glass surface like most touch screens, but instead it’s a proper tactile interface that just begs to be played on.
