Ambika Voicecard volume

Hi everyone,

the 2th voicecard of my Ambika suddendly started sounding less loud (actually the volume level fluctuates up and down as if modulated by a random lfo). Where do I start the troubleshooting?

I had something similar happen, an easy thing to check is that no components from one voicecard touch the one on top. On mine, I had some caps touching.

I exchanged soundcards and i am pretty sure there is something wrong with this single soundcard. What i realised is, that the LED2 Data LED is lit only on the defective soundcard…
