Ambika Power Pack?

Hi folks,

I’ve just moved to the US from the UK. I have just realised that the power pack that came with my Ambika is UK only. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Ambika powerpack in the US?

If nobody does, I’ll just buy a random one but the problem is that I don’t know what the expected tip configuration is! The power pack I have doesn’t indicate the polarity. Any help would be very much appreciated.

On Ambika the polarity changes 50 times per second (or 60 times per second) because it is an AC output, not DC :slight_smile:

9V AC and you’re fine…

Beaten :slight_smile: Get any 9VAC adapter with a 2.1mm barrel connector.

Jameco is where I got my adapter. They’re a cool company based in California that gives some pretty deals

I always thought the tip-polarity of AC adapters was critical. You can see why I had someone else make mine. :slight_smile:

Just ordered this one. 1000mA should cover it, I’m guessing.
