Ambika 4p voicecard issue - IC4 getting hot

Hello all,

I have finally managed to complete my ambika with 3 voicecards (smr4, svf and 4p). The smr4 and svf are working fine. Unfortunately there is an issue with the 4p voicacard.

After powering the ambika IC4 is getting very hot. Data led is “on”. Note led is not lighting up. I am hoping that someone has an idea what could be the issue?

Probably missing power rail. have you check that the voicecard receives +8V and -8V?

Thanks for the quick response.

You were right. Pin 5 on JP3 was not soldered properly. The 4p voice card is working fine now.
